Kindergarten

Welcome to Kindergarten at Mullaloo Beach Primary School, where your child’s learning journey begins with excitement and curiosity. We believe every child is a capable, curious learner, and we tailor our flexible indoor and outdoor spaces to meet them exactly where they are.
Our Kindergarten balances intentional, play-based exploration with targeted pre-reading and early numeracy instruction, following the WA Kindergarten Curriculum guidelines to build a strong foundation for Pre-Primary and beyond.
We value parents as our partners in this journey. You are always welcome in our classroom, whether joining us for morning learning, helping out at Busy Bees, or celebrating milestones including Mothers Day, Fathers Day, open nights, sports afternoons, and graduation concerts.
To support your child to settle in, we offer an orientation evening, and our unique ‘3s by the Sea’ Pre-Kindy transition program starting in Term 3. It is the perfect way to connect with our staff and community the year before formal schooling starts. We cannot wait to welcome you to our school family.
Pre Primary

In Pre-Primary, we aim to develop the ‘whole’ child; cognitively, socially, emotionally, physically and creatively. Our students are emersed with limitless opportunities for the children to be active participants in their learning. A balance of planned and purposeful play combined with explicit teaching in Literacy, Numeracy and all curriculum areas drives the teaching program. Enriching learning experiences will support high achieving students to thrive by further enhancing, deepening and extending their learning. Our well-equipped Early Childhood team work together with your child to build a solid foundation of skills that will enable them to be a lifelong learner. At Mullaloo Beach Primary School, we let them be little by filling their hearts with love, nurture their sense of wonder, inspire them to believe in themselves, help them to grow and become confident and happy students ready to reach their absolute best.
