Students from Year 1-6 learn French once a week.
Mullaloo Beach has a specialist Physed teacher. The school participates in swimming for years 1-6 each year as well as cross country events and interschool athletics. Faction sport is held every Friday and students are encouraged to wear their faction t-shirts.
We offer music to all students from year 1-6 taught by a specialist teacher. Choir this year runs from Years 3-6 in school time. We are singing this year at the West Coast Song Festival and the School Fete.
Mullalloo Beach offers students a wide range of technologies including Interactive Whiteboards in all classrooms. Over the last few years, through fundraisers supported by the P and C, we have been able to purchase over 120 i Pads. In Term 2 this year, 64 laptop computers for students in year 3-6 have been added to our technology hardware.
Primary and Extension and Challenge courses are organised for students from Year 5 and 6 who gain entry into PEAC through testing in Year 4. A variety of courses are available to participate in at the PEAC centre or online.
Senior students are offered the opportunity to become school leaders in Year 6. All senior students undertake responsibilities across the school including setting up for events and working with younger students through the use of buddy classes.
Transition programs are implemented in Term 4 to ensure that the change from K-PP-Year 1 is a positive experience for students.
Year 6-High School
We work closely with surrounding High Schools as they offer transition days in Term 4. This assists students in the change to a different model of schooling.
Year 6 Graduation
The Graduation Ceremony is always held in the last week of Term 4. Parents and students are invited to a BBQ at Mullaloo Beach later that afternoon. This is a great way for the community to farewell the Graduating students.
