Mullaloo Beach Primary School’s news is sent out regularly via Connect. The communication to our families is about sharing the upcoming events, celebrating students achievements and general information on what is happening at Mullaloo Beach. Regularly we are provide a snapshot of learning and examples of work from individual classrooms under the banner of “Students Making Waves”. Upcoming events can be found in the Connect calendar.
Class Assemblies are held each fortnight. Each class from Pre-Primary to Year 6 conducts an assembly each year. Assemblies usually take place on Friday morning. In 2022, our assemblies have been via Webex to ensure we meet the requirements of social distancing, but still gaining the important connection of gathering together to share in performances and awards.
Parents and friends are most welcome to attend virtually. A notification of assembly dates is made in the fortnightly newsletter and term planner. Merit Awards are presented to students from each class at these assemblies and items are performed by the designated class. Teachers will provide families with a photo of their child receiving the award.
We have moved away from the traditional newsletter format and have been providing families with a dynamic Sway publication. As news happens, highlights will be sent home for your enjoyment.
